My name is Austin (he/him), and I’m passionate about helping you live your life in full color.
I’m a therapist and clinical social worker. I began working in the mental health field 4 years ago, and I have been working with youth & families for over 12 years.
As a queer- and trans-identified counselor, I understand what the journey of discovering your true self can be like. I also identify as white, neurodivergent, and disabled.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2021. Before that, I worked as a child care provider and preschool teacher. I have provided crisis intervention to children, teens, and families, as well as ongoing counseling at a community mental health agency. I also worked at a hospital gender clinic, supporting trans youth seeking gender-affirming medical care. I opened my own therapy practice in 2022.
I have lived in Washington for 10 years. I grew up as an army brat and mostly lived in California, but I consider the Pacific Northwest to be home. I love living where the ocean meets the forest! In my free time, I enjoy reading, theater, visual arts, crafting, gardening, and going on adventures with my dog Reggie.
